LaFlamme, Pearl S. of Waltham, January 30, 2012. She was born in Concord, N.H. on February 24, 1922 and she graduated from Concord High School, Class of 1938. She worked as the executive secretary to the New Hampshire State Fire Marshall for many years. After moving to MA in 1965, she worked at Braun North America – The Gillette Company. Pearl was kind and sweet to all that knew her with her wonderful sense of humor and a sharp wit. She will be dearly missed. Beloved wife of the late Savior Joseph LaFlamme. She is survived by her devoted daughter Cheryl Shushan and her fiancé Paul Crimlisk and Brian K. LaFlamme and his partner Ann M. Taylor. Loving grandmother of Andrea Poulin and her husband Dr. Stephen Poulin, David Shushan and his wife Jamie, Dr. Alex Shushan and his wife Tracey and Remy Thompson – LaFlamme. Julie M. (Oullette Sarkisian) Ford, age 98, a longtime resident of Natick, died on Saturday afternoon, February 18, 2012, at LifeCare Nursing Center in Acton.

Born in Fall River, Julia resided in Somerville prior to settling in Natick with her husband Paul in 1972. She had been employed with John Hancock Life Insurance Company, working for many years as a billing specialist in the Accounting Department until her 1978 retirement. Julia later held a part-time desk clerk position at the Framingham Howard Johnson Hotel until 1995.

Julia enjoyed travel, working local craft shows selling item she had designed and created, and baking pies for loved ones. She also enjoyed working outdoors tending her lawn and garden.

Predeceased by two husbands, Paul J. Ford and Martin E. Sarkisian, she is survived by her devoted daughter, Carol A. (Sarkisian Tevekelian) Burnham and her husband Brian of Ashland; four loving grandchildren, Kevork H Tevekelian and wife Jennifer of Shrewsbury, Joshua A. Tevekelian of Watertown, Janeen M. (Tevekelian) Bazarian of Ashland, and Alana R. (Tevekelian) Counts of Moorehead City, NC; and seven beautiful great-grandchildren, Andrew, Derek, Kyle, Avo, Armen, Devin, and Izabella.

Her funeral service will be at the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street (at Natick Common) Natick, on Wednesday, February 22nd at 11:00a.m. Burial will follow at Saint Patrick Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family charity, Dana Farber Cancer Research Institute, “The Jerome Lipper Center for Multiple Myeloma,” P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.

Anthony Thomas Salvetti, beloved son of the late Thomas and Anne (Patricelli) Salvetti, brother of the late Pauline Salvetti died on March 11th after a long illness. Anthony lived most his life in Brockton. He is a 1959 graduate of Brockton High School, and served in the United States Army in the 1960’s. He was a chaplain’s assistant and because of his love for music and proficiency at playing the organ, he served as the army base organist at weekly Mass. He played piano and organ in many restaurants and lounges in the late 60’s and early 70’s. He was a sales coordinator at the Canoe Club for many years. Anthony retired from AGM Manufacturing in Brockton in 2006. He was an avid reader and historian, and spent much of his retirement creating a family tree of French monarchies. He was also an avid veteran supporter. Forty first cousins on the Patricelli side, six on the Salvetti side, and many loving godchildren survive him. He will be greatly missed, along with his wonderful Brandy Alexander drink with which he pleased his family on Christmas Eve. Anthony will be laid to rest in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Rest in peace, Anthony.

Avedisian, Haig, 99, of Watertown, March 23, 2012. He was the devoted husband for 70 years to the late Siroon ‘’ Lovey ‘’ (Mooshekian) who passed away in 2006. Haig was born in Harpoot, Armenia on May 15, 1912 to the late Yegsa (Simonian) and Sarkis Avedisian. He was a survivor of the genocide of 1915, but lost his mother and two young brothers in the massacres. He leaves his children, Irene Gallagher and her husband Richard of Waltham, Joyce Jablonski and her husband Francis of Uxbridge and Linda Ovoian of Watertown; 12 grandchildren, Tony Ray Richardson Jr. and his wife Beth of Upton, David Richardson Sr. and his wife Tina of Kentucky, Richard Gallagher Jr. and his wife Adrianne of Townsend, Lynne Coolbrith and her husband Glenn of Uxbridge, Sean Gallagher of Waltham, Brian Gallagher and his wife Kristin of Chelmsford, Todd Richardson of Milford, Michael Gallagher of Waltham, Zachary Ovoian of Watertown, Rebecca Sarofian and her husband Justin of Watertown , Leah Leach and her husband Gary of Medford and Adam Ovoian of Watertown. Haig also leaves 13 great- grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Diran Haig Avedisian in 1940, his sister Maritza Kasabian and his son-in-law Koren Ovoian in 2008.
