Loving brother-in-law of Walter Nahabedian and his wife Deanne and the late Alex Bagdasarian. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Former owner of The Crimson Men’s Shop in Harvard Square for 45 years. Past President of The Belmont Town Club. Member of Saint James Men’s Club and Aleppo Shriners, Wilmington. Cherished aunt of R. Bryan (Carol) Talanian of Norwell, Mark (Tina) Talanian of Marshfield, Valerie (Thomas) Foley of Marshfield, Pamela Talanian McGrath of Milton, Kathleen (William) Lambert of Hanover, Andrea (Eric) Lindsey of Virginia, Donna (James) Russo of Marshfield and Bruce Talanian of Milton. Loving and devoted great-aunt to nineteen nieces and nephews as well as great-great aunt and dear confidante to many cousins and friends. A graduate of Dorchester High School for Girls, Alice attended Boston Clerical School of Business. She was a 30 year employee of the Army Corps of Engineers and she was an active member of Saint Stephen’s Women’s Guild, Watertown. Alice, a world class traveler, visited Europe several times but family was the central core of her being. She lovingly cared for her family and supported them throughout her life. Her favorite pastimes were baking and watching the Food Channel as well as tending to her Rose Garden. Funeral services will be held at Saint Stephen’s Armenian Church, 38 Elton Avenue, Watertown on Monday, May 13 at 12 noon. Visiting hours will be held in the Church Sanctuary from 11:00 – 12 noon, immediately prior to the Funeral Service. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Saint Stephen’s Armenian Church or Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256. Having recently moved to NH, Michael spent a majority of his life with his beloved wife Rose, of 65 years, in Watertown, MA where they were active members of the community and church. Loved by many, Mike was a WWII Veteran, U S Navy, a member of the AMVETS and Masons, a father to many and a beacon of life to all. Survived by his wife Rose Khachadoorian; Children: Linda and Jack Zarzatian, Diane and Edward Boyd; Grandchildren: Laura and Brian Tenters, Michael Boyd and Melissa Luciani, Paul Cardinal and Danielle DeSilva, Ryan and Melissa Boyd; Great-grandchildren : Trevor Cardinal and Danielle Rich, Alistair Tenters, Leandra Tenters; Great-Great Grandchildren; Kylee Rich and Trevor Cardinal Jr.

Kuimjian Noonie, 86 died at Cape Cod Hospital early Thursday morning, June 6, 2013. She was born and attended public school in Massena, New York. Her family moved to Watertown, MA where she worked for Lewis-Shepard as an Executive Assistant until the company moved from Watertown. She was married to Bart Kuimjian of Syracuse, NY for 40 years. While living in Syracuse she worked for the Mobil Oil Corp. and Agway until her retirement in 1994 when she moved to Cape Cod. She was the daughter of the late George and Florence Bourgoujian and is survived by her sister Helen Markarian and her husband John of Westwood/Foxboro, the late Sima Randolph and the late Arko Bourgoujian. Her niece Diane Parvin and her husband Denis of Centerville were always there for her before, during and after she became ill. She leaves many nieces and nephews who will miss her loving high spirited presence. She loved animals, the beach and all Boston Sports Teams. The Bruins were her # 1 favorite , she’d be thrilled right now. Visiting hours and services will be held at the Aram Bedrosian Funeral Home, 558 Mount Auburn Street, Watertown on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 7 – 9 p.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Talanian, Nishan “Chuck”, of Weymouth and Highland Beach, FL, passed peacefully on July 22, 2013 at age 82 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved son of the late Asadour and Altoon Talanian. Devoted husband and best friend of Margaret “Carol” Talanian (Floren) for 57 years. Loving brother of Virginia Childs of Bourne and the late Alice Talanian (Milton) and Ralph Talanian (Milton). Adoring dad to Mark and Tina Talanian of Marshfield, Valerie and Tom Foley of Marshfield, Kathleen and Bill Lambert of Hanover and Donna and James Russo of Marshfield. Awesome Papa to Michelle, Billy, Kevin, Jake, Mike, Ryan, Jill, Taylor, Nick, Joe, Victoria, Tommy, and baby Jack Davis. Great friend to many, especially Bill and Muriel Lambert. Chuck is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Chuck grew up in Dorchester, and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He lived in Braintree for many years while raising his family. He worked in the real estate and insurance industry, and cofounded Bel-Air Real Estate and Insurance in Weymouth. He loved life and lived it to the fullest, embracing every day. He truly loved people, the art of making a great deal, Florida, winning at gin, and preparing a great shish kebab for his clan. He also loved to play golf and tennis, and was an original member of the Weymouth Tennis Club. Family was his passion and his legacy. He always offered his heartfelt advice and left his mark on everyone he met. There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for anybody. There was no one better, Dad, you were the best.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Saint Stephen’s Armenian Church, 38 Elton Avenue, Watertown on Monday, August 5 at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
